Family Ministries
Many of our programs
and ministries are geared toward families. There are
opportunities to gather for fun and fellowship, meet
old friends and make new ones. Various events designed
to enrich marriages and enhance parenting skills are
also offered periodically.
Christmas
Caroling and Soup & Salad Supper
The Aley Church
family gathers for supper and then divides into
teams of carolers to follow pre-selected routes
caroling to shut-ins and nursing homes. Dessert
is served upon returning to the church.
Fall
Family Hayride
Usually scheduled in late September or
early October. This event is for the entire congregation.
Bring a blanket or just rest on the hay as we ride through
the countryside and then warm yourself with hot dogs
and s'mores by the campfire.
Marriage
Encounter
A weekend opportunity to enrich your
marriage in a retreat setting.
Engaged Encounter
A weekend opportunity to prepare for
marriage in a retreat setting. Call Kirk and Susan Lehneis,
Marriage/Engaged Encounter Representatives for more
